What is the jewelry made out of?
All of our jewelry is either 14k gold filled, 14k gold vermeil, 18k gold filled, 18k gold vermeil, or 14k solid gold. We commit to using higher quality metals for our customers.
Can I shower with my jewelry on?
For most pieces- Yes! Our jewelry can withstand everyday wear including showering and sleeping in the jewelry. it is recommended that any precious gemstones such as opals and diamonds are not to be worn while sleeping nor in the shower regularly.
How should I take care of my jewelry?
To increase the longevity of your beautiful pieces, we outlined a care guide you can read here. In summary, it is recommended to avoid harsh chemicals such as chlorine, dyes, and cleaning products.
What does the jewelry come in?
To be better on the environment, we are a minimal plastic company. Our products are packaged in a re-usable jewelry box, pouch, or drawstring bag. Our jewelry is placed on recycled jewelry cards to ensure your pieces don't tangle. Every order receives a luxe jewelry cloth as well!
Orders
What is the processing time?
All orders placed Monday-Friday will ship out within 3 days. Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation followed by additional emails for when your order is shipped, out for delivery, and delivered.
When will my order arrive?
All orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days and will be delivered within 5-8 business days when selecting economy shipping and 3-4 business days with standard shipping.
Can I add to my order if I already placed it?
Add ons are accepted within 1 hour of your order being placed. If you'd like to add another item to your order, simply place another order. Free shipping discounts can be granted by emailing info@kategatesjewelry.com.
Can I cancel my order?
We accept order cancellations up to 1 hour after the order is placed. Please email us with your order number ASAP at info@kategatesjewelry.com.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
If your order states your items have been delivered, but you did not receive it, please contact USPS immediately. Unfortunately, lost or stolen packages are out of our control.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Our return policy can be viewed here. Please note, when returning, you will need to have the original packaging and need to return all items. (ie: Jewelry card, box or pouch, and cleaning cloth)

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Our pieces are packaged with a complimentary jewelry box or jewelry pouch ready for gift giving. The pieces are placed in a box with premium tissue paper in a sealed box. Orders are packed with your receipt, but do not show prices.
