Care & Quality
All of our jewelry is either 14k gold filled, 14k gold vermeil, 18k gold filled, 18k gold vermeil, or 14k solid gold. We commit to using higher quality metals for our customers.
For most pieces — yes! Our jewelry can withstand everyday wear including showering and sleeping. It is recommended that precious gemstones such as opals and diamonds are not worn while sleeping or in the shower regularly.
To increase the longevity of your pieces, we've outlined a full care guide you can read here. In summary, avoid harsh chemicals such as chlorine, dyes, and cleaning products.
To be better on the environment, we are a minimal plastic company. Our products are packaged in a reusable jewelry box, pouch, or drawstring bag. Jewelry is placed on recycled jewelry cards to prevent tangling. Every order also includes a luxe jewelry polishing cloth!
Yes! All of our jewelry is hypoallergenic and nickel free, making it safe for sensitive skin. We specifically design our pieces for people who struggle to wear regular jewelry without irritation.
Orders
All orders placed Monday–Friday will ship within 1–2 business days. Once placed, you'll receive an email confirmation followed by shipping, out-for-delivery, and delivery notifications.
Orders are fulfilled within 1–2 business days and delivered within 5–8 business days with economy shipping.
Add-ons are accepted within 1 hour of your order being placed. Simply place a new order and email us at info@kategatesjewelry.com — free shipping discounts can be granted.

If your order shows as delivered but you haven't received it, please contact USPS immediately. Unfortunately, lost or stolen packages are outside of our control once handed to the carrier.
Returns & Exchanges
Our full return policy can be viewed here. Please note that returns require the original packaging — including the jewelry card, box or pouch, and cleaning cloth. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
You can start a return easily through our returns portal here. Make sure you have your order number handy and all original packaging to complete the return.
Other
Our pieces are packaged with a complimentary jewelry box or pouch ready for gift giving — no extra wrapping needed! Orders are packed with your receipt but do not show prices, making them perfect for gifting.
